Different Types of Gantry Cranes in Indonesia
Full-gantry crane
Full gantry crane is the most common type. The metal structure is like a gantry frame. Two legs are installed under the main beam, which can travel directly on the ground track. The main beam of the gantry crane can have overhanging cantilever beams at both ends to effectively utilize the site area.
Semi-gantry crane
Semi gantry crane is a combination of overhead crane and gantry crane. One leg of the semi gantry crane runs along a rail on the ground surface, while the other runs along elevated runway beam. There are height difference between the two legs depending on the site requirements.
Portable gantry crane
